Dryfoam (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit dry-foam.com and related pages, including when you contact us, subscribe to our newsletter, or use our coverage calculator.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, and message content when you use our contact form, and your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter. We also collect limited technical information automatically through our own site analytics, described below.

How we use information

We use collected information to respond to inquiries, send the newsletter you subscribed to, operate and improve our website and services, understand site usage, and maintain security. We do not sell your personal information.

Site analytics and cookies

We record first-party visit logs on this site to understand traffic: page path, referring site host (or Direct), coarse location (country, state or region, and city from our hosting edge network), whether the browser reports that it is automated, whether the visitor interacted with the page, and an anonymous visitor cookie (dryfoam_vid). The last three help us separate real visitors from automated traffic. We do not store full IP addresses for these logs, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising services. Hits are recorded when our site JavaScript runs and successfully reaches our collector; calculator embeds and obvious bots are excluded. Admin pages are not measured.

Your cookie choices

This site sets one cookie for analytics, dryfoam_vid, a random identifier that lets us count returning visitors. It lasts one year and is not shared with anyone. We use no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we email you a link to confirm your subscription, and we add your address to our list only after you confirm. We keep your email address, the date you confirmed, and the topics you choose. Newsletters are sent through our email provider, Resend, which records deliveries, opens, and clicks so we can see how each issue performs. Every newsletter includes a link to change your preferences or unsubscribe, and you can also ask us at contact@dry-foam.com to delete your address.

Sharing of information

We share information with service providers who help us operate the site, such as hosting (Netlify) and email delivery (Resend), when required by law, or to protect our rights and users. Those providers may use information only to perform services on our behalf.

Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law. We automatically delete site analytics records after 90 days. If you start a newsletter sign-up but don't confirm it, we delete the request after the confirmation link expires, within a few days. Newsletter subscribers stay on our list until they unsubscribe or ask us to delete their address.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting us at contact@dry-foam.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.
